Day 239: Psalm 54, Proverbs 8:19-21,1 John 3, Job 32-33
Whatever We Ask, We Receive If...
I John 3:22-23 says "whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment". What a Promise from God! Whatever we ask, we receive from Him. But, there are 3 conditions, namely believe in Jesus, love one another and do things that are pleasing in His sight. As Christians, we have believed in Jesus and we please Him when we have faith in Him (Hebrews 11:6). What is left now is to love one another. From Bersih 4.0's rally, I read many touching stories of how an Indian man just gave a brand new umbrella to a chinese as he was about to leave the rally. There were people buying breakfast and serving free coffee to those who spent the night on the street. I saw young people picking up rubbish, ensuring the place would be left "bersih" at the end of the rally. I believe as we continue to love another and continue to ask(pray) for a just and corruption-free nation, our Father in Heaven WILL grant our request. Amen! https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
