Let Us Do A Quantum L.E.A.P.

In 2 Peter 3:14, it is written, "Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.." What was Apostle Peter looking forward to? What did he mean by "these things"? Yes, the context of the whole Chapter is on the coming back of our beloved Dear Lord Jesus Christ. He will come back no longer as a Saviour anymore but as a Judge. Hence, St. Peter exhorted us to be diligent to be found in Him without spot and blameless. Let us L.E.A.P - Love God and His Word, Excel in all that we do, Anticipate His Coming and Prepare ourselves well. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
