Know God, Has Eternal Life

As what I have written about Job yesterday, the book of James also recorded the perseverance of Job in Chapter 5 verse 11. Upon reading the book of Job itself  in Chapter 9, we get a glimpse of how Job could persevere under such harsh conditions. He knew God, had a true and right perspective of Him and he understood the character of God. Job declared in verses 4-12, "God  is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered? He removes the mountains, and they do not know When He overturns them in His anger; He shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble; He commands the sun, and it does not rise; He seals off the stars; He alone spreads out the heavens, And treads on the waves of the sea; He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south; He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number. If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him, ‘What are You doing?’". Hence, let us understand God and KNOW HIM. In fact, in John 17:3 says knowing God is eternal life, "this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
