We know that King David was the apple of God's eye. God was very pleased with him. We can get a glimpse of what King David prayed in Psalm 17, "..You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in  You From those who rise up against  them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings, From the wicked who oppress me, From my deadly enemies who surround me." King David asked to be the apple of God's eye. His prayer was bold, specific and detailed. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
