God did not allow Laban to harm Jacob/Israel as seen in Genesis 31:7. In fact, in various occasions, in Genesis 31:12 & 42, God assured Jacob that God had seen his hardship and the toil of his hands. We knew subsequently how Jacob flourished and prospered more than Laban. What a Blessed Assurance that God knows and sees. He knows exactly what you are going through and how you have endured and tolerated. Let us draw comfort from what Jacob had experienced and the promise in Hebrews 13:5 that "He will never leave us nor forsake us."
