In Matthew 14:30-31, Apostle Peter started with faith when he took the first step to walk on the water but when he saw the wind and waves around him, his faith dwindled and hence he began to sink. Jesus reached out to him and asked him not to doubt but increased in faith. It is by faith we first came to know the Lord. How important that we need to learn to increase our faith in Him more and more especially when we face trials and temptations. In fact, J.R.R. Tolkien said "Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.” May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace as we TRUST in Him, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
