In Genesis 13:10-11, it is written,"Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord , like the land of Egypt....So Lot chose FOR HIMSELF the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east." We know the ending of this story and the consequences of Lot's choice - the plain that seemed well watered, Sodom and Gomorrah were completely destroyed due to the sins and wickedness of the people there. When we decide and choose solely for ourselves, without praying and seeking His will, the tendency is that we decide from worldly perspective. Let us abide in our dear Lord Jesus and pray and seek that we will do nothing but His will. Read John 15:4-9 & Colossians 3:1-3.

What impressed me most is the history of this great prestigious University. John and Charles Wesley's prayer meetings held there laid the foundations of the Methodist Church today. The way of teaching is based on the Disputations which was started 600 years ago in the Divinity School where 2 Professors would present their cases to determine who would be more persuasive.
