Day 327: Psalm 121, Proverbs 17:13-15, Luke 16, Ezekiel 26-27

Jesus - Our Security

Yesterday, when my family was travelling back, the plane suddenly started shaking for a while. My daughter was worried and asked me to pray. I am glad that she knows how to turn to our Lord for help. Indeed, what the Psalmist said in today's Psalm is so true. My help comes from the Lord Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow our foot to be moved. He who keeps us will not slumber... nor sleep. The Lord  is our keeper and shade at our right hand. The sun shall not strike us by day nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve us from all evil and shall preserve our soul. The Lord shall preserve our going out and our coming in from this time forth and even forevermore. What a comfort to know that our Lord is watching and keeping us 24 by 7! "Where does your security lie? Is God your refuge, your hiding place, your stronghold, your shepherd, your counselor, your friend, your redeemer, your saviour, your guide? If He is, you don't need to search any further for security.” ― Elisabeth Elliot. https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC (please click this link to twitter to view a visual)
