Day 321: Psalm 119:137-144, Proverbs 16:28-30, Luke 11, Ezekiel 14-15

Ask, Find & Knock

To me, the most comforting words from Jesus Himself are found in Luke 11:9-13, when He said, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.  Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Note that this is a promise from God! When we ask, it WILL be given to us; when we seek, we WILL find and when we knock, it WILL be opened to us. It has no condition attached to it as well. The only requirement is that we must ASK, FIND & KNOCK! This calls for effort and perseverance on our part to keep praying and seeking God. Shall we do it right now? God loves importunate prayer so much that He will not give us much blessing without it. ~ Adoniram Judson https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC (please click this link to twitter to view a visual)
