We Have A God Who Forgives

When we have done wrong or hurt someone, whether intentionally or otherwise, we require that someone to forgive us. It is only then that true reconciliation takes place. There will be no reconciliation even if the person who does wrong, keeps doing good when that someone does not FORGIVE. This is exactly what Christianity is all about. We have a God who does not keep a record of our sins - with Him there is FORGIVENESS when we repent. After the reconciliation, we then with reverence, serve Him, wait upon Him with our whole being, put hope in His Word and in Him for with our dear Lord Jesus is unfailing love and with Him is full redemption ( Psalm 130:3-7). We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
