Saved By Faith In Christ

Many, if not all want accomplishments - they feel very good when they are ABLE on their own accord put in their efforts and hard labour to achieve something! This is commendable BUT not in regards to our salvation of our souls. No matter how many good works we may have accomplished, a man is not justified by the works of his hands BUT by FAITH in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16). If good works can justify salvation, the next question to ask is how many good works one needs to accomplish? The next questions may be on what type of good works and how is the quality of the works and the list goes on. Find out more on how to be saved for eternity from any church. Day 69: Psalm 49, Proverbs 25:4-6, 1 Corinthians 5, Genesis 49-50 Do Our Utmost For His Highest Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. However, Joseph in the Old Testament did not have such feelings but instead he went about doing his best in whatever tasks given to him, knowing that God is in charge and in control. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
