Let Jesus be King In Us

In Galatians 1:24, it is recorded that the churches of Galatia glorified God in Paul. Wow! God was glorified IN the Apostle Paul. How can this be achieved? We can get some answers in Exodus 19:5-6 whereby God Himself  duly informed the Israelites that they SHALL be to Him a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. When we are to Him the Kingdom of God, we glorify Him. How are we to Him the Kingdom of God - it is simply trusting and letting Jesus to rule and reign and sit on the throne of our hearts by obeying His voice and keeping His covenant (verse 5). Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
