We do experience times when we read the Bible and we are not able to understand. In Proverbs 25:2, it reads as "It  is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter." Hence, we are to search the Scripture with all our heart, soul and mind. We are to medidate upon it day and night just as stated in Psalms 1:2-3 where we delight in the law of the Lord and meditate the Word day and night....whatever we do shall prosper. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
