Our Jesus had arisen! He is Alive! He lives! He lives! In Psalm 68:1, 3-4, it says, " Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him....But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly. Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Y ah , And rejoice before Him." These verses said it all. We, Christians have every reason to REJOICE today as our Saviour LIVES! And the beauty of it all is His own Promise which He said in John 14:19 that because He lives, we will live also! Hallelujah! What A Saviour! His love and His holiness are displayed on the cross of Calvary! This amazingly divine love demands our soul, our life and our all! We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
