All of us want blessings. No one in his right frame of mind will reject blessings. But, the crucial question to ask is how to ensure blessings come to us? In Psalms 67:7, it says "God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him." Again, there is a condition - to those who fear God! Nowadays, the idea of fearing God seems a far distance away. In Deuteronomy 32:17-20, 23-24, God chastised the Israelites that their fathers did not fear God, they were unmindful of the Rock who begot them and have forgotten the God who fathered them. “And when the Lord saw it, He spurned them...And He said: ‘I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith. ‘I will heap disasters on them; I will spend My arrows on them. They shall be wasted with hunger, Devoured by pestilence and bitter destruction...". Wow! Surely, we do not want these consequences! Beware then, my friends - the least we must do is to FEAR GOD!
