Rend Your Heart To Jesus NOW

God spoke to Ezekiel that although God had scattered the Israelites, eventually He will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them, take the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh that they may walk in His statutes and keep His judgments and do them. They shall be His people and He will be their God. But as  for  those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, God will recompense their deeds on their own heads (Ezekiel 11:19-21). This shows God's loving-kindness, mercy, goodness, grace and compassion on His people at all times. There are at least 188 references of God's compassion in the Bible. However, God wants our HEARTS TO BE RENDERED TO HIM, just as stated in Joel 2:13 "..rend your heart and not your garments. Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil." Don't wait! But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. However, Joseph in the Old Testament did not have such feelings but instead he went about doing his best in whatever tasks given to him, knowing that God is in charge and in control. We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
