We have seen on various occasions, how King David inquired of the Lord. In II Samuel 2:1, it is stated, "It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord , saying, “Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?” And we knew that King David grew stronger and stronger. In contrary, in II Samuel 3:25, Joab did not inquire of the Lord but just merely based on his own understanding, he suspected Abner and said this, "Surely you realize that Abner the son of Ner came to deceive you, to know your going out and your coming in, and to know all that you are doing.” And we knew he committed a blunder of killing Abner. Far be it from us that we simply assume things or suspect other people. How important that we must be still and hear the still, soft, small but sure voice of God and obey and do nothing but ONLY His will! Hence, let us find time to HEAR GOD, like Samuel who said, "Speak, for Thy servant is listening." (1 Samuel 3:10) https://twitter.com//EstherOngHC
