In I Corinthians 1:24, 30, it is stated that to those who are called, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. We are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Thanks be to God who called us! Called us to be His children (John 1:12), called us to abide in Him (John 15:5) and when we are in Him, we are made wise, made righteous and we are redeemed and are sanctified! What a glorious gift that we receive! Shall I trade anything in exchange of these? I shall not, how about you? Let us then, hold firmly to the faith and lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
