When R.A.Torrey wrote on George Mueller, he said Mr Mueller would open the  Bible before him, and placed  his finger upon that promise that covered his case he was praying about and he would plead that promise, and so he received what he asked. Mr Mueller, one of the greatest man of prayer, in the last 60 years of his life (he lived to be 92 or 93) obtained USD7,200,000.00 by prayer alone! In Mark 11:24 , Jesus Himself said, "...whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." This is a promise given by our dear Lord Jesus Himself. We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
