Yesterday as I was about to leave my office to fetch my children, I was so thankful that only when I reached my covered car park, it rained so heavily. As I was about to reach my children's place which was not so far away, miraculously, the rain stopped. Only after we reached home safely, that it started to rain heavily again. But, about 2 hours later, when I was about to go out from my home to send my daughter for another class, the rain stopped again. I cannot but to pen these incidences down and bow in humble adoration to my AlMighty God who cares and loves me even in these small details and surely I can echo what the Psalmist said in Psalm 40:5 that His thoughts towards us cannot be recounted and if I were to declare all of them, they are more than can be numbered. Today, count our blessings and declare His faithfulness, His goodness and His loving kindness to us in the congregation of His people!
The spiritual strength that God gives you is founded on the wonder-working triad of faith, hope and love. God has shown you how you are to behave with others by actively demonstrating these 3 virtues through His unblemised behavior toward you. If you take God at His Word, your day-to-day life should be a reflection or an acting-out of His promises to you. Your relationship with others should be an energetic, vital mirror image of the trustworthy, loving and merciful God you have come to know. Ask God this morning to help you build your life upon the principles of faith, hope and love. May God guide and keep you on the right path. Read Psalm 33. Paul had experienced God's glorious provision. He had seen God's help in a powerful way through the church of Philippi. They had been very generous with him and he assured the church that God was going to bless them because of this. This is a wonderful promise for you to claim today. As you are generous with others, you never have to
You'll come to places that seem like abrupt ends to your dreams. Every door will appear closed and you may even have to accept responsibilities that seem incompatible with the promises God has given you. Do not ever you think its all over but remember that God holds your future. He is developing your character and strengthening your faith. The purpose of your life is so important that God Himself protects it for you - you do not have to fear that it has been lost or ruined forever. So no matter how long it takes, obey and follow God without wavering. Despite the detours, He will unfailingly lead you to your purpose. Read Psalm 57. So steep and treacherous are the paths along the walls of the Grand Canyon that those who wish to traverse them rarely set out on foot. They depend on remarkable animals with hoofs designed to hug the narrow, dusty paths and bodies proportioned for maximum strength, endurance and balance. Likewise, in the course of your life, you may encounter many moun
The last verse in the Old Testament ends with a curse (Malachi 4:6) but praise be to God that the last Chapter of the New Testament in Revelation 22:3 says that there shall be no more curse but the throne of God and the Lamb shall be in it and His servant shall serve Him. This is because of the work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary for you and me that the curse was removed from us provided we humble ourselves to confess our sins and believe and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. We are being saved daily as we CONTINUE to believe and to serve Him. Let us spur one another on to COMPLETE the race to meet God face to face. In the first 2 chapters of Leviticus, we can read of how God expected an offering of a lamb without blemish, offering of fine flour with frankincense and grain offering of firstfruits to be presented to Him. It is definitely not that our God needs them, but He wants to see our willingness (1:3), just as a parent will be pleased with a child's own initiative to
