Day 265: Psalm 80, Proverbs 11:10-12, Revelations 21, Isaiah 25-26
Repent NOW to Keep Away From Wrath
As we have spoken and defined Rapture, today's passage in Isaiah 26:20-21 confirmed it as God's invitation to His people to enter their chambers for a little moment for the Lord to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The tribulation period is a time set apart by God to once again deal with Israel in particular, and as such, it does not concern the Church (Jeremiah 30:7, Daniel 9:24). The Church as the Bride of Christ are those who are rescued and saved from wrath and punishment. Paul says: "... wait for his Son from heaven, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come" (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10). Later in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul says: "For God has not destined us [the Church] for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ". Further, in Revelations 3:10, Jesus Himself said to the Church, ".. I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth". According to Jewish wedding ritual, after the betrothal, the groom would return to prepare wedding chambers for his bride and once ready, he would return and bring his bride back to his father's house for 7 days, thereafter they emerge for the great wedding feast (John 14:3). Therefore, if the 7 years' tribulation were to commence anytime now, then Rapture will occur prior to that. My stand is simple - you may not agee with this Pre-Trib idea as you believe in Mid-Trib or Post-Trib, but if Rapture does not happen before Tribulation, it does no harm. If it happens, we do not wish it to be like Noah's time where all except for 8, missed the boat. Please prepare NOW and share NOW with your loved ones. https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
