Day 248: Psalm 63, Proverbs 9:10-12, Revelations 4, Ecclesiastes 11-12

Fear God & Keep His Commands

As we are pondering the event of Rapture, even in today's Old Testament reading of Ecclesiastes, God reminds us to remember Him BEFORE the difficult days come and while the sun, the light, the moon and the stars are not darkened (v1-2) and BEFORE the silver cord is loosed or the golden bowl and wheel are broken (v6). What is Rapture? It is a state or experience of being carried away. The English word comes from a Latin word, rapio, which means to seize or snatch in relation to the actual removal from one place to another. In other words, it means to be carried away in spirit or in body. The Rapture of the church means the carrying away of the church from earth to heaven. The Greek word from this term “rapture” is derived appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated “caught up.” (source:Bible.org). Henceforth, let us take heed of verses 13-14, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil." https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
