Hold Fast and Repent

I am sure we know of people who do not want to know what is happening around them and just live day by day. There is nothing right or wrong about it but in today's reading in Revelation 3:3, Jesus Himself said, "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you." Please take note that the words in effect means that if we would not watch, He would come as a thief. In other words, it means that if we are to keep watch, we will not be caught by surprise. In the same Chapter verse 10,  Jesus also said, "I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth". It appears that Rapture has to happen before Tribulation so that we, the Church can escape the hour of trial that shall come upon the whole world, generally termed as the Great Tribulation, which may be very soon, looking at the world's events now.
