Day 123: What an Inheritance We Have in Jesus
Read: Psalm 101; Proverbs 30:27-31; Colossians 1; Numbers 35-36
It is so good to make Scriptures as prayers. Why not say this prayers in Colossians 1:10-12 today?
Prayers:-
We continually ask You, God to fill us with the knowledge of Your will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[e]
10 so that we may live a life worthy of the Lord and please You in every way:
- bearing fruit in every good work,
- growing in the knowledge of God,
11 being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience,
12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified us[f] to share in the inheritance of Your holy people in the kingdom of light.
Amen.
O! What a privilege that we share in the inheritance of God’s holy people. The Bible is clear that inheriting eternal life is synonymous with entering the Kingdom. At the judgment, the righteous will inherit the Kingdom ( Matthew 25:34 ) but the wicked will be eternally tormented ( Matthew 25:46 ). The finality of the separation of those outside of the family of God is clearly seen in their lack of a share in God's inheritance. The concept of the believer's inheritance highlights the dignity of the family relationship of the believers in Christ. No higher position or greater wealth can an individual acquires other than to become an heir of God through faith in Christ. Hallelujah! Praise be to our God Almighty, El-Shaddai! #prayers #devotion #heaven #hell #salvation #grace #faith https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
