Day 121 - Let Us Be Encouragers
Read: Psalm 99; Proverbs 30:20-23; Philippians 3; Numbers 31-32

Numbers 32:9-12
“For when they went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, so that they did not go into the land which the LORD had given them. So the LORD’s anger was aroused on that day, and He swore an oath, saying, ‘Surely none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not wholly followed Me, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the LORD.’

From the passage above, we can take note of the consequences of discouraging fellow believers. The Lord's anger was aroused. To me this is serious. We are to do all that we can to please God. However, by virtue of discouraging any of our brothers and sisters in Christ, we may arouse the anger of our Lord. Henceforth, please take heed that we need to spur one another on towards good deeds and to encourage one another to finish the race to meet our dear Lord face to face.  “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” (‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:11)‬ ‭Let us be ENCOURAGERS! #devotion #encourage #pleasegod #finishrace #endwell https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
