Day 99: Privilege Comes With Responsibility 
Read: Psalm 80, Proverbs 28:18-20, Ephesians 1, Leviticus 21-22

“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”

What a joy! What a privilege! We were sealed with the Holy Spirit to GUARANTEE our inheritance as the purchased possession of God. Bear in mind too that we were purchased by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ! In fact, Michelangelo, regarded as the most famous artist of the Italian Renaissance said, "It is not sufficient merely to be a great master in painting and very wise, but I think that it is necessary for the painter to be very moral in his mode of life, or even, if such were possible, a saint, so that the Holy Spirit may inspire his intellect". O Lord, help is not to forget that! We are precious treasure of God! Let us then live our lives fully so much so God our Heavenly Father is proud of us! Day 69: Psalm 49, Proverbs 25:4-6, 1 Corinthians 5, Genesis 49-50 Do Our Utmost For His Highest Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. However, Joseph in the Old Testament did not have such feelings but instead he went about doing his best in whatever tasks given to him, knowing that God is in charge and in control. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that? This is our Bible - it will not hide - all the successes and failures of God's people are truthfully reported. Why did King David suffer this?
