Day 93: Do Not Take God For Granted
Read: Psalm 74, Proverbs 28:1-3, Galatians 1, Leviticus 9-10

“So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. Then Moses said, “This is the thing which the LORD commanded you to do, and the glory of the LORD will appear to you.” And Moses said to Aaron, “Go to the altar, offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. Offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as the LORD commanded.” And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people,”
and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.””
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭9:5-7, 23; 10:1-2, 11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Actually, the way God operates is very simple. If we obey Him and do what He has commanded us to do, He will bless us and He longs and loves to even glorify us with Him. But, if we do what He has not commanded us like Nadab and Abihu, our God is a holy God, He will punish. Let us not only remember this ourselves but we are to teach others, especially our own children all the commands of Christ. Someone has assembled them into 52 General Commands of Christ; some of which are as follows:- repent (Matthew 4:17), follow Jesus (Matthew 4:19), worship God only (Luke 4:8), do not tempt God (Luke 4:12), rejoice (Matthew 5:12), let our light shine (Matthew 5:12) etc

Oh! Dear Lord, may You keep us safe and be protected and that we will ONLY do what You have commanded us. Help us not to take You for granted. Amen! #devotion #lovegod #jesuscommands https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
