Day 102: Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit
Read: Psalm 83,  Proverbs 28:26-28, Ephesians 4,  Leviticus 27

“that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:22-24, 30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Thank God for a brand new day. In fact, today and yesterday have no difference. It is just another day. But the newness of a brand new day makes the difference. In today's passage, Apostle Paul exhorted us to put off the negative values and attitudes that sprang from our 'old' nature. We are to put on the NEW MAN which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. Thanks be to God, we don't have to do it by ourselves. God has put the Holy Spirit in us to help us to be the NEW MAN. All we got to do is just not to grieve the Holy Spirit. We can grieve the Holy Spirit by being continually not obedient to His prompting. Dear Lord, thank You for a brand new day The newness of it gives us hope and we commit ourselves to Your Holy Spirit that we may be obedient to Your prompting at all times as we trust in You. Amen. #devotion #new #newbeginning #holyspirit https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
