Day 100: Keep Shining
Read: Psalm 81, Proverbs 28:21-22; Ephesians 2, Leviticus 23-24

““Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭24:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬


Here we can see that God COMMANDS that the children of Israel to bring the pure oil of pressed olives for light. What was the reason? To ensure that the lamps burn continually. Applying this now, God expects us to KEEP shining for Him. In order to do so, we must CONTINUALLY abide in Christ in order that the Holy Spirit dwells in us. We must delight in the presence of God by coming to Him daily to read His Words and to pray and not to grieve the Holy Spirit. May this be our daily goal and daily determination! We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
