Day 65: Psalm 45,  Proverbs 24:27-29, 1 Corinthians 1, Genesis 41-42

What A Way To Correct Someone!
I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.. I Corinthians 1:4‭-‬7 NKJV (http://bible.com/114/1co.1.4-7.NKJV)

We know that the church in Corinth at the time when the Apostle Paul wrote this Epistle, was in turmoil and in division. Yet, from today's verse, we can see that Paul was full of good words for them. He affirmed them in 5 ways: (1) thanked God for them (2)recognized that God's grace was upon them (3) acknowledged that they were enriched in everything by God (4) acknowledged that they were a testimony to God (5) acknowledged that they were a people with God's gift. What a revelation! I am sure the Apostle Paul was upset with the church members in Corinth when they were disputing as to whether Paul or Apollos or Peter were the greatest. Nevertheless, his approach was to affirm and to assure them of their unique and privileged position that is full of God's grace and blessings. May we learn and do likewise. No matter how upset we are, we must get up to set the things right! https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC (please click to view a visual)
