Day 64: Psalm 44,  Proverbs 24:24-26, Romans 16, Genesis 39-40

What Is Your Secret of Success?
The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord  was with him and that the Lord  made all he did to prosper in his hand. Genesis 39:2-3 NKJV (http://bible.com/114/gen.39.2-6.NKJV)

When we know someone who is successful, we usually like to know the secret of his or her success. Today, we read that Joseph son of Jacob was a successful man. His secret? The Lord was with him. But, it was not a secret. His master knew it as he saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper. This master was smart. He put him to be in charge of his house and from such time, the Lord blessed this Master's house as well. We, Christians are rightly to have the Lord's presence with us all the time. This means we should be successful and causing others whom we are in contact with to be successful as well. Are we? If not, as we go to church today, let us examine ourselves and pray like King David in Psalm 51:11-12, "..do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit." Amen. https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC (please click to view a visual)
