Day 56: Psalm 36, Proverbs 24:1-3,  Romans 8, Genesis 23-24

What A Glorious Hope!
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to  be  compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Imagine a scenario where life is doom and gloom. There is no more hope and it is a dead-end at the end of the tunnel. How do you feel? But thanks be to God. He is our Hope. While He was on earth, Jesus was continuously giving hope to His disciples just as in John 14 where He mentioned that His Father’s house had many mansions and He would go and prepare a place for us. He would come again and receive us to Himself. In fact, just before He was about to be crucified, His 3 beloved disciples were able to witness His transfiguration on Mt Tabor. Christianity is all about hope! We are waiting for His glorious return whereby He will not only reveal His glory IN us as promised in today's verse but He will also crown us with honour and glory as stated in Psalm 8:5! Day 69: Psalm 49, Proverbs 25:4-6, 1 Corinthians 5, Genesis 49-50 Do Our Utmost For His Highest Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. However, Joseph in the Old Testament did not have such feelings but instead he went about doing his best in whatever tasks given to him, knowing that God is in charge and in control. We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
