Day 296: Psalm 111, Proverbs 14:22-24, Mark 2, Jeremiah 21-22
Be God's Faithful Messenger
It was not a pleasant news when Jeremiah was asked by God to prophesy that the Israelites who remained in the city would die by the sword, by famine and by pestilence; but he who went out and defected to the Chaldeans would live..(Jeremiah 21:9). It is normal for one to reject bad news. Nobody likes bad news. Nevertheless, we need to be God's faithful messenger to teach or preach EXACTLY what God wants and not according to what the itching ears of the audience (2 Timothy 4:3). How important for us to read through the Bible with its good and bad news and not portions of Scriptures only. It is never too late. Start today by reading 2 chapters of Old Testament, 1 chapter of New Testament, 1 chapter of Psalm (to praise and worship God daily) and 3 verses of Proverbs (to gain wisdom from God). https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
