Day 285: Psalm 100, Proverbs 13:13-15, Matthew 19, Isaiah 65-66

2nd Coming of Jesus Is Clear

Finally, we come to the last chapter of Isaiah. Isaiah has been known as a miniature Bible, containing 66 chapters which is akin to 66 books in the Bible. Hence, the last chapter denotes the 2nd coming of Jesus. In verses 15-16, "For behold, the Lord will come with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind to render His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword, the Lord will judge all flesh and the slain of the Lord shall be many." The 2nd coming of Jesus as a Judge to judge all flesh is clear. When Jesus first came on earth, He came as a Lamb of God, as a holy Sacrifice to pay the penalty for and on our behalf of each and every human being by dying on the Cross.  What we should do now is to persuade people to take heed of this warning that Jesus IS COMING BACK TO JUDGE each and every one of us! Day 69: Psalm 49, Proverbs 25:4-6, 1 Corinthians 5, Genesis 49-50 Do Our Utmost For His Highest Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. However, Joseph in the Old Testament did not have such feelings but instead he went about doing his best in whatever tasks given to him, knowing that God is in charge and in control. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
