Day 149 - To Save Us
Read: Psalm 119:73-80; Proverbs 2:16-18; Hebrews 2; Joshua 19-20

Hebrew 2
17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Christmas is just over. But, the true meaning of Christmas must always be remembered. Why did Jesus need to come as a Baby? Recently, a kitten fell into a drain. My neighbour and I were trying our level best to rescue the kitten, even to the extend of going down into the drain. However, the kitten ran away from us. I called the “Bomba” (fire brigade) to come. 6 strong men came and went down into the drain as well. The kitten was still running away from us and up until today, the kitten is still in the drain. What a good illustration as to why Jesus had to come as a Baby in the form of a human - so that He could communicate with us! If not, we will be like the kitten who never understand the good intention to save us and never to harm us (Jeremiah 29:11). https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
