Day 148 - Possess What God Has Given Us
Read: Psalm 119:65-72; Proverbs 2:13-15; Hebrews 1; Joshua 17-18

Joshua 18
3 Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: "How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?
4 Pick out from among you three men for each tribe, and I will send them; they shall rise and go through the land, survey it according to their inheritance, and come back to me.

God reminded me that I cannot be complacent and neglected to go and possess the “land” which the Lord God has given to us. We are to go out and to make disciples for the Lord, to bring in more people to God’s Kingdom in obedience to Jesus’ Last Command but our First Concern (Matthew 28:19-20). In fact, Christmas season is the best time for us to reach out and bless the community to tell them the Greatest Story ever told that Baby Jesus was born to die for us so that we will not die an eternal death (hell) but to enjoy and possess eternal life (Heaven) through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Let us invite our friends to our home this Christmas to let them experience the warmth and the love of our Heavenly Father that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39). https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
