Day 142: Blessed Assurance
Read: Psalm 119:17-24;Proverbs 1:27-29; 2 Tim 3; Joshua 5-6

Joshua 5
12 Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?"
14 So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say to His servant?"
15 Then the Commander of the Lord's army said to Joshua, "Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy." And Joshua did so.

God provides just enough for us. The minute the Israelites were eating produce of the land, the manna stopped. God’s timing is always right and will never be late. Tq Halelujah! I am so glad for this assurance that God will provide. Nothing and absolutely nothing that our beloved Heavenly Father will let us down or do anything to harm us. In fact, He took every effort to reveal Himself and appeared before Joshua. It was at that moment God gave instructions to Joshua to march around Jericho city and assured him that the wall of the city would fall down flat. We know that it exactly happened when Joshua obeyed. John Garstang (1930-1936) and Kathleen Kenyon (1952-1958) both dug at Jericho for six seasons and a German excavation directed by Ernst Sellin and Carl Watzinger dug for three. All found abundant evidence of the city's destruction related to the Biblical date of 1400 BC. Thank You for the assurance! Blessed Assurance indeed! #devotion #GodProvides #miracles #GodAnswersPrayers #assurance https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
