Day 106 : God Will Always Give Us The Best
Read: Psalm 86;  Proverbs 29:7-9; Galatians 2; Numbers 5-6
Day 107: Privilege To Have Holy Spirit to enable us
Galatians 2
6 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

How important that we are reminded again that we are justified by the blood of Jesus. We have to remember that we are unable to save ourselves - it is not through any good works or hard work but solely and purely by His work in the cross that we could be saved from the power of sins. 

Once we are saved from the power of sin, we then have the freedom to choose to do right and to do good works. We are saved for good works and hence to serve God has to be part and parcel of our new life in Christ. 


The beauty of it all, Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to enable and empower us to live a righteous life which was impossible to be achieved by our own - only as we abide in Christ, The Holy Spirit will naturally enable us. Day 69: Psalm 49, Proverbs 25:4-6, 1 Corinthians 5, Genesis 49-50 Do Our Utmost For His Highest Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that?
