Day 103 - Pray For Wise Friends
Read: Psalm 84;  Proverbs 29:1-3; Ephesians 5; Numbers 1-2

“Whoever loves wisdom makes his father rejoice, But a companion of harlots wastes his wealth.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

From just this one verse, we can learn that to have wisdom is TO BRING JOY TO PARENTS! It means to make our parents happy and rejoice over us. Hence, wherever our journey of life is, we must work hard to make our parents proud of us. So, if there is a friend who distract us from honoring our parents, it is like joining the company of prostitutes whose sole purpose is to make money for their own purposes. Take heed with whom we make friends and go out with. The world is full of wolves that come in sheep skin or devils that disguise themselves like angels. Always confide in our parents and share EVERYTHING that happens daily including our emotional struggles and inner thoughts. #devotion #parenting #friends #wisdom https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
