Turn, Serve and Wait

Following from what I have shared yesterday, that we are to be a Contributor and a Blessing to people, in 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10, we learnt from the Thessalonians that after they have TURNed to God, they SERVEd the living and true God and WAITed upon the return of God's Son from heaven. Apostle Paul was truly encouraged how their faith has grown not only in Thessalonica but they had sounded forth the Word of the Lord to Achaia, Macedonia and in every place. As we go to church today, let us not just go home after the worship but stay back and find ways to SERVE Him while we WAIT expectantly and enthusiastically upon the return of our Lord and Saviour! https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC

We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom.
