We all want '...the crown of life ...' the Lord promised (James 1:12) but we do not want the 'problems and trials' that develop 'strength of character in us' (Romans 5:4). Our greatest progress comes from our greatest pain - hence God does not save us from it but strengthens us in it. '...see how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You cannot shorten the seasons or hurry the harvest, so 'be patient and stand firm... (James 5:7-8). And pay attention. While you are waiting, God is working. Remember '...problems and trials ... are good for us ...(Romans 5:3)

What impressed me most is the history of this great prestigious University. John and Charles Wesley's prayer meetings held there laid the foundations of the Methodist Church today. The way of teaching is based on the Disputations which was started 600 years ago in the Divinity School where 2 Professors would present their cases to determine who would be more persuasive.
