God waits for the perfect time to work. You may fear He has forgotten the situations that weigh so heavily on your heart. Be assured He knows exactly what He is doing. However, right now be steadfast and hang on to Him. Even though you do not see the evidence of His hand at work, He is wholeheartedly committed to honoring His promises to you. God has a plan and at the right moment, you will see it unfold. He will work all things together for your good in due time. He will accomplish His will in your life. In time, you will see how He has been working in the unseen. Read Psalm 75.

We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom.
