Day 178 - God's Righteous Anger
Read: Psalm 136; Proverbs 5:21-23; 1 John 5; 1 Samuel 28-29
1 Samuel 28
v18 - God has His fierce anger against the Amalekites. So, do not think that God is not angry. He is angry against the right thing at the right time in the right place. The problem with us human beings is that we are angry at the wrong things at the wrong times in the wrong place. Our anger is flared up because we are being inconvenienced. However, God's anger is righteous anger that is holy and against injustices. Henceforth, following His example, we should have righteous anger. In fact, I would say that we have a change of Government after a long 60 years, is due partly to the righteous anger that we Malaysians have against the old regime that had no accountability to Malaysians. I am now in Myanmar for part leisure and part business BUT I am proud to say that my husband and I were invited to speak to a group of entrepreneurs as to how we, Malaysians did it on May 9, 2018. Let us continue to pray for our beloved country that the new Government will uphold justice and truth at all times. It calls for all of us, citizens to have righteous anger towards any injustices and wrong-doings committed especially by those whom we have elected as leaders of our beloved nation. https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC #justice #anger #righteousness #RighteousAnger #devotion
