Day 129 - Build Up People
Read: Psalm 107; Proverbs 31:13-15; 1 Thessalonians 3; Deuteronomy 11-12

1 Thessalonians 3
7 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord. 9 How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you? 10 Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith.


How important that we care for the spiritual aspects of a person. How we need to encourage one another to grow in the faith! This is because this is our treasures in Heaven - people who are growing and loving the Lord! We need to supply what is lacking in their faith. How we need to love another and to build people up. Matthew 24:12 said, "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” This verse is stated in Matthew 24 whereby Jesus Himself talked about His own 2nd return. It shows that when loves grows cold, it shows End times is near. Hence, as Christians, we certainly need to love one another and be ready for His return. Day 69: Psalm 49, Proverbs 25:4-6, 1 Corinthians 5, Genesis 49-50 Do Our Utmost For His Highest Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but  God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it  is this day, to save many people alive. We may go around feeling very miserable, angry and unproductive. However, Joseph in the Old Testament did not have such feelings but instead he went about doing his best in whatever tasks given to him, knowing that God is in charge and in control. Day 187 - Have Fear of God Read: Psalm 145; Proverbs 6:28-31; Revelation 6; 2 Samuel 15-16 2 Samuel 15 & 16 15:13 A messenger came and told David, “The hearts of the people of Israel are with Absalom.”14 Then David said to all his officials who were with him in Jerusalem, “Come! We must flee, or none of us will escape from Absalom. We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom. His own son schemed for 40 years (15:7) to topple his own father - could you believe that? This is our Bible - it will not hide - all the successes and failures of God's people are truthfully reported. Why did King David suffer this?
