Day 125 - Jesus - Worthy to Be Worshipped
Read: Psalm 103; Proverbs 31:1-3; Colossians 3; Deuteronomy 2-3
“Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.”
Psalm 103:1-5, 8, 11-12, 17-18 NIV
Psalm 103 is a beautiful psalm that reminds us that God forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. What a comfort to know this! Not only that, He redeems our lives and crown us with love and compassion. He satisfies our desires with good things. As we fear HIm (means keep His covenant and obey His precepts), His love for us will be to our children's children. Today as we go to Church to praise and worship Him, let us just ponder on these. His love and faithfulness is new every morning. May we glorify Him with our songs and words of praise today and then make a resolution to continue to praise and worship Him with our daily lives by fearing Him and honouring Him in whatever our hands find to do throughout the week. #devotion #worship #feargod #healing #forgiveness https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
