Day 76: Rely On Him
Read: Psalm 57, Proverbs 26:4-6, 1 Corinthians 13, Exodus 15-16
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. “I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’ ”
Ex 16:4‭, ‬12 NKJV

From the passage above, we can see that God tests us to see whether we walk in His law or not. This gives us glimpses on questions like, "Why God allows suffering?" It is not that God allows sufferings per se, it may be due to our disobedience to His law. For instance, if God has instituted Sabbath and we blatantly ignore rest on Sundays, our bodies will slowly but surely gives way. We may not always know the reasons for sufferings but God is always there with us. In life, we are undergoing a big life examination. We need God to help us constantly to triumph over the little life tests He gives us. Someone says this, "Life is like a diamond, success in every area of life increases as you develop each facet of your character. As imperfections are cut or polished away, you can reach your full potential." God is constantly perfecting us so that we become the beautiful diamond glowing and shining when we see Him face to face. Henceforth, let us just be obedient and pass this very important life examination. The beauty of it all is that He will help us to pass this life exam! We just need to rely on Him! https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC (please click to view a visual)
