We all know the 1st miracle that Jesus performed was to turn the water into wine. In John 2:8, it is recorded that when Jesus instructed the servants to draw out some of the WATER and to take it to the master of the feast, "... they took it." These 3 little words are important for us to see that without the servants ACTING upon what Jesus told them to do, we may not witness this 1st miracle. Imagine, taking the glasses and serving the master of the feast, knowing that the glasses contained only water. This is sheer obedience. Are you praying for something which God has yet to answer? We must leave immediately, or he will move quickly to overtake us and bring ruin on us and put the city to the sword.” To me, as a parent, it is so sad to note that King David got to run for his life from his own son, Absalom.
