Day 157 - Our Sins are Remembered No More

Read: Psalm 119:137-144; Proverbs 3:20-22; Hebrews 10; Judges 11-12

Psalm 119
143 Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight.
144 Your statutes are always righteous; give me understanding that I may live.

Hebrews 10
16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"
17 then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

God gave Ten Commandments to His people through Moses. Now, God made a new covenant with His people that He will put His laws into our hearts and will write His laws in our minds. All these are done by Jesus Christ through the Cross so that our sins and lawless deeds will be purged and will be remembered no more. With this deep appreciation of what Jesus had done for us, we will be gladly and boldly enter into His presence and submerge ourselves to meditate His Words and commit to mind His commands. It is no longer an obligation but a love affair - we just long and desire to read His Word to KNOW Him - to know what He thinks and how He feels. By virtue of this, we will be like the Psalmist who can say God's commands become our delight and the understanding of His Words cause us to live. Amen. https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC #devotion #GodWords #Bible #forgiveness #SinNoMore
