Day 137: Choose Life
Read: Psalm 116; Proverbs 1:11-13; 1 Tim 4; Deuteronomy 29-30

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NKJV
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.””

As of today’s reading, we can see God has laid both blessings and curses before us. We need to make a choice whether to obey Him or not. God has laid down clearly the consequences of our choices. He further reiterates that we are actually choosing between life and death. Moses urged the Israelites to choose life that the descendants may live to love the Lord, obey His voice and cling to Him for indeed God is our life! With Him is our length of our days, Not only that, as we keep His word, we may prosper in ALL that we do. Joshua 1:8 says. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” #devotion #choice #death #life #success #prosper https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
