Day 134 - Be An Example, Walk the Talk
Read: Psalm 112; Proverbs 31:28-31; 2 Thessalonians 3; Deuteronomy 21-22

2 Thessalonians 3
6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you,8 nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate.

Deuteronomy 21
5 The Levitical priests shall step forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister and to pronounce blessings in the name of the LORD and to decide all cases of dispute and assault.

Paul exhorted the Thessalonians to be diligent and not to be idle and he did not just tell people to do BUT he himself did it to show himself as a model for people to imitate him. The sayings that we must walk our talk rings true for the Apostle Paul. Likewise, we are all now priests and henceforth we shall step forward to pronounce blessings to people in the name of Jesus and to help reconcile and solve issues and disputes that the world is facing. We can just do a little to make the world a better place to stay, more so, as Christians we possess the wisdom and knowledge from God to discern and to decide cases for people. We must be able to give Godly counsel and advice. Let us be more sensitive, proactive and step out to be an example and an influencer. 1 Timothy 4:12 says, "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC #devotion #example #WalktheTalk #solveissues
